While I attended the Tennessee Governors School for the Arts, I took classes in Mixed Media, taught by Charles Clary, and Painting, taught by Michelle Corvette. I learned so much from both professors, not just in terms of artistic technique, but what it's like to pursue a career in the fine arts. My professors would often tell stories about their experiences in the arts and showed us their progress as an artist throughout the years.
