I grew up a quiet kid in the middle of nowhere, which was great, except for the entire rest of my family being extroverts who didn't understand the concept of introversion...like at all. Later on my mom would claim that she knew about it but just never consider there could be one in her own family. It was like coming out as queer a second time.
When I was able to scrap some alone time, I was always drawing animals, watching animated tv-shows and movies, or coming up with dramatic story-arcs for my plushies. These times from my childhood modeled me into becoming the artist I am today.

I graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I honed my craft and prepared for my career as an artist. I took a variety of different classes; both those I considered myself skilled in and would like to pursue, and those I had never tried but wanted to learn. I specialized in scientific illustration and comics, which centered around my passions: nature, animals and whimsy.

I am currently employed as an Animator and Graphic designer where I create products for a variety of clients from Law firms to independent businesses.
